Registration is now open for the 2026 OHA Biennial Conference. Go to the booking page on Humanitix to book conference registration, workshops and tours and the conference dinner.
Early bird pricing is available until 30 October 2026. Member concession rates are available for members of Oral History Australia state associations and the National Oral History Association of New Zealand (NOHANZ).
The 2026 conference will be held in Tardanya/Adelaide, South Australia, on the lands of the Kaurna people, from 3-6 December. The conference is being presented jointly by Oral History Australia and Oral History Australia SA/NT.
Our conference theme ‘Human Voices, Modern Technology: Oral History & Authenticity’ is very timely given rapidly advancing technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are therefore thrilled to welcome Doug Boyd, a world expert on technology and oral history, as our keynote speaker.
Further information about the conference is available on the conference website at: https://oralhistoryaustralia.org.au/biennial-conference-2026/.
